Dispersing Agents Definition:
A dispersing agent or dispersant agent is a surface-active polymer or non-surface active polymer which is added to suspension usually a colloid to develop the separation of particles and to prevent clumping or settling. The other name of dispersing agent is plasticizer or superplasticizer. One important point that should mention here that dispersing agents consist generally of one or more surfactants but may also gas.
Functions of Dispersing Agents:
