05 | Approved sample | The sample which is approved by the buyer is a known approved sample. |
06 | Costing | To determine cost considering fabric required, making charge, trimmings, accessories, and profit is known as cost. |
07 | Production pattern | To make a pattern for a particular style with net dimension along with the allowance. |
08 | Grading | The process to grade up the approved sample according to dimension i.e. S, L, M, XL, and XXL are known as grading. |
09 | Marker making | To make the marker where the marker is a thin paper that contains all the necessary pattern pieces for all sizes for a particular style of clothing in such a way that fabric wastage would be least. |
10 | Fabric spreading | It is a process in which plies of fabric are spread to get the required length and width as per marker dimension. |
11 | Cutting | Cutting means to cut the fabric according to the marker dimension. |
12 | Sorting and bundling | To sort out the fabric according to size is known as sorting and for each size making an individual bundle is known as bundling. |
13 | Sewing | It is a process to join up the various parts of the fabric with the help of a sewing needle or thread manually or by using a sewing machine. |
14 | Ironing or finishing | It is a process to get complete apparel treated with steam ironing. |
15 | Final inspection | To inspect finally the clothing. |
16 | Packing | It is the process to pack the apparel treated by polyethylene bag. |
17 | Cartooning | It is a process to keep the pack in a hand paper bag for export to minimize damage. |
18 | Send to the buyer or dispatch | When all the processes are completed then apparel is sent to the buyer. |
