What is Yarn Count in Textile?
In textile industry, yarn count means the thickness of yarn which is determined by its mass per unit length.
In the other word, it is a numerical expression which indicates the fineness or coarseness of yarn. Normally yarn count is determined by following two methods named direct system (weight per unit length) and the other one is indirect system (length per unit weight).
